1) No in-person tutoring at the library. We are currently still doing curbside service only and will be doing so until we have all the necessary precautions in place, and the Governor moves us into phase 5. Even then, we will be open for appointment only and we have made the decision to do only virtual programming for the rest of the year.
2) Tutor.com is available for any Allen Park resident with a valid AP library card and PIN, and internet access. This resource is also great for adults looking for resume building and the like. Tutors are available everyday between 3-10 PM to help with any homework need students may encounter. 3) AP residents can apply for a library card online at https://www.allenparklibrary.org/librarycards.asp. These are temporary cards that will be good until January 2021 and can be used for all digital and print resources the library offers. 4) We will still be doing virtual programming in the Fall. I am still hammering out the details, but once finalized, I will send over some promotional materials that I hope you will share with your students. Students and families!!
We want to wish you a very warm welcome back!! We have missed you so much and hope you had a wonderful summer vacation. We are very excited to be with all of you again this school year and hope you feel the same! We can't wait to connect with you very soon! As always, please reach out to us with any questions or concerns. Here's to an amazing 2020-2021 school year!!! |
